Job summary

Hegg Health Center is seeking a Personal Trainer/Exercise Instructor to design and deliver individualized training programs for clients. The role focuses on creating tailored workouts that meet client needs and capabilities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR, and completion of Iowa mandatory abuse reporting training within specified timeframes. influenza vaccinations are required for all staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent.
• Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1.
• CPR certification required.
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.

Position Highlights

The Personal Trainer/Exercise Instructor provides clients with a training program specific to the client’s individual needs.

Required Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Requirements

• Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved.
• CPR
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
