Job summary

Defense and Development Enterprises LLC is seeking a Vice President of Quality Assurance to establish and maintain the QMS across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9120:2016, AS9100:2016, NADCAP, FAA, EASA, and CAA. The role includes liaison with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to support growth and certification efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality required; master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of quality experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing, distribution, or MRO.
At least 10 years of leadership or management experience.
CQE or CMQ/OE preferred.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
AS9100 or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead QMS development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
Maintain certifications (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, FAA, EASA, CAA) and oversee audits.
Lead audits, supplier audits, and internal quality reviews.
Interface with regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers on quality matters.
Develop metrics and drive corrective actions and process improvements.
Lead and develop QA/QC teams to ensure product integrity and safety.
