Job summary

Buffalo State University seeks an accomplished Vice President for Finance and Management to serve as the CFO, reporting to the President and guiding financial sustainability, workforce management, technology, facilities, and campus safety.

The VPFM will build multi-year financial models, partner with Academic Affairs and Enrollment, and lead a large, diverse team in a fast-changing public higher education environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee Financial Sustainability, Workforce, Technology, Facilities, and Campus Safety.
• Lead development of multi-year financial models aligned to enrollment strategy.
• Direct a division of ~237 staff with 8 direct reports.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, and Institutional Advancement.
• Ensure transparent budgeting and governance reporting to campus leadership.
