Job summary
VCA Inc. is looking for an Area Chief of Staff based in White Oak, North Carolina. This role will lead and manage associate veterinarians, ensuring quality care and performance in hospitals. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree and at least 3 years of experience in small animal medicine.
The position offers a salary range of $128,635 to $185,806 annually along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, retirement plans, and more. This is a full-time role requiring strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
- Must have Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.
- Valid veterinary license in good standing required.
- 3 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage associate veterinarians to ensure quality care.
- Act as Responsible Veterinarian and manage inventory.
- Drive doctor engagement and retention strategies.
