Job summary

Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, FL, seeks an Executive Sous Chef to lead a high-volume kitchen and drive exceptional quality, presentation, and menu development. You will oversee daily operations, mentor a diverse team, and partner with the Executive Chef to deliver an elevated guest experience.

Minimum 5 years of culinary management experience, strong leadership, and cost control skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of culinary management in a high-volume operation
• Asian cuisine experience preferred
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Knowledge of budgeting, costing, inventory and food safety
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; ServSafe certifications desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision and production in absence of Executive Chef
• Showcase culinary expertise, refined technique, and taste
• Hire, train, and mentor team members
• Oversee budget management, labor costs, inventory control, and receiving
• Collaborate on menu design and recipe development
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant kitchen
