Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
• Arizona medical license or eligible within one year.
• DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances.
• Maintenance of certification, licensure, and continuing education requirements.
• Minimum 7 years clinical experience in Psychiatry, including 5+ years in leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical governance and set standards for psychiatric care.
• Provide direct psychiatric care across age groups and manage medications.
• Supervise prescribers and oversee credentialing and privileging.
• Ensure compliance with IHS, AHCCCS, TRBHA, 638 contracts and HIPAA.
• Lead risk management, quality reviews, and telepsychiatry services.
