Job summary

Gavin de Becker & Associates is seeking a Protector in Northern California to join our security team. You will monitor property, screen access, and support security plans across client locations, including travel and home protection.

New hires earn at least $90,000 in base earnings in the first year with potential up to $110,000 based on experience, performance, and promotions. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for Bay Area hires.

Qualifications

• Military, law enforcement, or executive protection experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to pass physical readiness test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property using command center tools and technology.
• Screen visitors and vendors; control access to protected sites.
• Coordinate and execute security plans; respond to emergencies.
• Provide protection and logistical support at client locations.
• Provide secure transportation as needed.
• Survey and prepare locations prior to client arrival.
• Document suspicious activity in detail.
• Maintain readiness to meet threats.
