Job summary

The Jonus Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Executive Property Underwriter to assess, evaluate, and underwrite complex commercial property risks. You will work with brokers, agents, and internal teams to develop tailored risk solutions that align with policy guidelines and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field.
• Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or AU are a plus.
• 7–10 years of experience as a Property Underwriter with a strong track record in handling complex commercial risks.
• In-depth knowledge of property insurance policies, reinsurance, and risk management principles.
• Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to balance risk and reward.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in underwriting tools, software, and data analytics for risk modeling and assessment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills are highly desirable.
