Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Director to lead a greenfield food manufacturing facility project in Georgia.

Based at the existing Newnan plant, you will oversee planning, design, construction, and commissioning, delivering an operational facility in LaGrange by late 2028. This is a self-directed, team-of-one leadership role coordinating internal stakeholders, design-build partners, contractors, consultants, and international leadership, with weekly calls to Beijing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing construction projects and budgets.
• 5+ years managing large-scale construction projects including Greenfield work.
• Experience delivering at least 5 industrial projects, with one over $100 million.
• Greenfield experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience managing design-build firms, contractors, and capital budgets.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the greenfield project from development through construction, completion and handover.
• Develop and manage scope, budgets, schedules, milestones, and resources.
• Oversee design-build firms, general contractor, engineers and consultants.
• Monitor critical path, identify risks and implement progress solutions.
• Manage scope/time/cost changes, including change orders and negotiations.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, procurement, quality and finance.
• Guide partners through permitting and regulatory approvals.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with construction safety standards.
• Provide senior leadership with updates on progress, financials and risks.
• Participate in weekly calls with international leadership across time zones.
