Job summary

FOX Chicago seeks an Executive Producer to lead our newsroom's digital-first daily editorial vision, content execution, and team performance across on-air, online, and streaming platforms.

You will supervise reporters, anchors, and assignment desks, shape rundowns, ensure accuracy, and drive breaking news coverage while collaborating with digital and promotions teams to grow audience in Chicago's dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of newsroom experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to make deadline-driven decisions.
• Experience implementing a multi-platform news distribution strategy.
• Knowledge of newsroom systems (ENPS, iNews, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily editorial planning for newscasts and digital platforms.
• Supervise producers, reporters, anchors, and assignment desk staff.
• Oversee rundowns, story selection, and content prioritization.
• Drive breaking news coverage and cross-platform updates across platforms.
• Mentor newsroom talent and monitor ratings, analytics, and audience trends.
