Job summary

WTVC, owned by Sinclair Inc., in Chattanooga, seeks an Executive Producer to oversee lifestyle content for the This n That program. The role covers daily lifestyle production, supervising show content, social media, and special programming.

You will collaborate with the host, sales team, clients and lifestyle staff to craft compelling stories and drive engagement across broadcast and digital platforms. The ideal candidate has at least five years of television producing experience, strong writing

Qualifications

• Proven track record of creating compelling stories across platforms.
• Ability to manage daily, weekly and monthly bookings for guests and advertisers.
• Strong writing and editing skills for TV and digital content.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lifestyle program including bookings and social media posting.
• Manage show production including writing, shooting & editing content, graphics, and posts.
• Collaborate with lifestyle team and managers to create content for broadcast and social.
• Plan long-term show content including events and on-location productions.
• Work with Sales to create client-driven content for broadcast and social platforms.
• Travel outside Chattanooga DMA as required.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

WTVC has an immediate opening for an Executive Producer to oversee lifestyle content for the program This n That. The ideal candidate will produce daily lifestyle content and oversee production of the program, social media content and special programming. You will work closely with the show host, sales, clients and other lifestyle members.

Some additional responsibilities of our Executive Producer will include:

• Oversee daily lifestyle program including daily booking and social media posting to ensure we are serving our local advertisers and community partners.
• Manage daily show production including writing, shooting & editing content, graphic support, and social media postings.
• Collaborate with other lifestyle team members and station managers to create content for broadcast and social engagement.
• Planning and overseeing long term show planning including special event programming, on-location production and events.
• Collaborating with the sales team to create client driven content for broadcast and social platforms.
• Other responsibilities as direct by department head.
• Must be willing to travel outside the Chattanooga DMA.
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record.

• Proven track record of creating compelling and engaging stories across multiple platforms
• Ability to manage daily, weekly and monthly bookings for sales and the community guests
• Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
• Extraordinary people skills with an emphasis on coaching and motivating
• Strong understanding of how to drive digital traffic and engaging digital posts
• Minimum of 5 (years exp) producing in a television environment or equivalent
• A college degree in Journalism or a related field is preferred
• Adobe Creative Cloud Experience (Premiere/Photoshop/Encore)
• Strong writing skills and a proven track record for getting results on initiatives
