Job summary

The Austin Stone Community Church is seeking a Congregation Executive Pastor/Operations Director (CXP/COD) to provide primary executive leadership within a local congregation. In partnership with the Congregation Pastor, the CXP/COD shares stewardship of health, mission, and alignment of plans, people, resources, and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7 years in vocational ministry or equivalent leadership.
• Experience leading staff and managing budgets.
• Demonstrated maturity and alignment with Austin Stone culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary executive leadership translating ministry direction into aligned plans and resources.
• Lead Congregation Leadership Community, staff rhythms, and accountability.
• Steward budget, finances, and churchwide collaboration with staff and leaders.
• Develop future church leaders in partnership with CP and community.
