Qualifications

Executive Operations Coordinator (Project Management)

DPAC Nevada is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented Executive Operations Coordinator to support the Executive Director and Board of Directors during an exciting period of growth and transformation. As DPAC Nevada launches as an independent public charter school, the Executive Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive and governance functions. This position serves as a trusted partner to the Executive Director, helping manage priorities, coordinate communications, organize key initiatives, support Board operations, and maintain efficient administrative systems across the organization. The ideal candidate is a skilled project manager, exceptional communicator, and relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting mission-driven leaders in service of students, families, and the broader community.

What You'll Do
Executive Director Support
  • Manage the Executive Director's calendar, appointments, meetings, and scheduling priorities.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings with staff, families, community partners, vendors, and government officials.
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations, and other communications.
  • Track projects, deadlines, and action items to support effective execution of strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, registrations, and logistics for conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Maintain confidential records and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director.
Board Governance Support
  • Coordinate Board of Directors and committee meeting schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting notices, agendas, board packets, and supporting materials.
  • Attend Board and committee meetings as assigned.
  • Record, prepare, and maintain accurate meeting minutes.
  • Support compliance with Nevada Open Meeting Law requirements and Board policies.
  • Maintain governance records, resolutions, and official Board documentation.
  • Coordinate Board onboarding, training, retreats, and special events.
Administrative Operations
  • Manage document filing systems and administrative records.
  • Assist with purchasing, contracts, vendor communications, and administrative workflows.
  • Support school events, enrollment activities, family engagement events, and community meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics for staff meetings, trainings, and special projects.
  • Monitor shared email accounts and route inquiries appropriately.
  • Provide administrative support for operational and compliance-related activities.
Front Office Support
  • Provide front desk coverage as needed.
  • Welcome families, visitors, and community partners.
  • Answer phones and assist with general inquiries.
  • Support daily office operations during peak periods or staff absences.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of administrative, executive support, operations, or project coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, governing boards, or public agencies.
  • Experience in education, nonprofit, government, or public-sector organizations.
  • Familiarity with Nevada Open Meeting Law requirements.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Compensation

Salary placement will be determined according to the DPAC Nevada Staff Salary Schedule and will be based on verified experience and qualifications. Coordinator Salary Range: $48,000 $65,000 annually comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and technology resources.
