Hill View Retirement Center in Portsmouth, OH, seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead a 72-bed skilled nursing facility within a growing Continuing Care Retirement Community. You will oversee operations, ensure CMS/ODH/compliance, and drive resident-centered care.

You will champion quality initiatives, manage staffing and budgets, and collaborate across departments to maintain high standards of care and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Ohio Nursing Home Administrator license.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• Previous nursing home leadership or administrative experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of CMS and Ohio nursing facility regulations.
• Experience with regulatory surveys, quality improvement, staffing, budgeting, and reimbursement.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners.
• Commitment to resident safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Direct the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Ohio Department of Health, Medicaid, Medicare, and other applicable requirements.
• Promote resident-centered care, safety, dignity, and quality of life.
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Prepare for and manage regulatory surveys, complaint investigations, and plans of correction.
• Monitor staffing, labor costs, census, reimbursement, and departmental budgets.
• Recruit, develop, and retain qualified department leaders and staff.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, social services, dietary, activities, environmental services, and other departments.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, employees, referral partners, and the community.
• Review clinical and operational performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure facility policies and procedures are consistently followed.
