Job summary

Summit Medical Consultants seeks a Medical Director to guide clinical operations across SNF, LTC, ALF, and AIR settings. This role will lead clinicians, ensure safe medical services, and provide ongoing clinical education to staff.

The position oversees policy changes, quality improvement, partnerships, market growth, and regulatory compliance, with responsibilities spanning governance, staff development and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in healthcare management or related field preferred.
• Clinical licensure and experience a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance to physicians and APPs, drive policy changes, ensure compliance and initiate quality improvement programs.
• Represent the Practice in meetings with facility and hospital administrators, and present performance metrics to demonstrate and market the Practice.
• Lead and partner with administration and staff to support strategic and operational plans; foster collaboration with providers, payors and peers.
• Direct the day-to-day clinical operations and manage partnerships with physicians and health care organizations; coordinate leadership and team meetings.
• Oversee staff development, continued education and regulatory compliance.
• Direct market development: maintain referrals, expand scalability, and grow market share.
• Interpret research data and develop integrated analyses for strategic decision-making.
