Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership or eligibility for House Counsel registration.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience, incl. 5+ years managing litigation.
• Experience owning a litigation portfolio and directing outside counsel.
• Experience advising senior executives on legal risk and business tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own the litigation portfolio end-to-end across jurisdictions.
• Select, engage, and manage outside counsel and legal spend.
• Advise HR and operations on employment, wage, and regulatory matters.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial, banking, and real estate agreements.
• Build processes and reporting to scale the in-house legal function.
