Job summary

NFP, an Aon Company, is seeking a skilled Broking Leader in New York to coordinate renewals, negotiate with major carriers, and steer complex client placements. You will guide submissions, analyze quotes, and present clear recommendations to clients and prospects.

The role requires seven years of insurance experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to build trusted relationships with carriers and wholesale partners. Hybrid work model with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Seven years insurance experience required.
• Team leadership experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively coordinate and handle broking around the renewal cycle.
• Demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills with senior audiences.
• Complete client/prospect placements with focus on financial and non-financial outcomes.
• Collaborate on submissions, carrier queries, and marketing proposals.
• Develop solutions for difficult placement scenarios and lead processes to improve client satisfaction.
• Lead team in preparing proposal presentations for clients.
• Support team in responding to client queries and resolving issues.
• Prepare detailed coverage analyses, reports, and letters under supervision.
• Build productive relationships with carriers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Oversee accuracy of client and policy information in Epic.
• Drive data analytics to provide program insights for clients and broking team.
• Advance client stewardship to enhance relationships.
