LBA Hospitality is hiring an Executive Housekeeper for an on-site leadership role in San Antonio, TX. You will oversee housekeeping and laundry operations to meet cleanliness, safety, and brand standards while managing staff, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities include training, performance coaching, inspecting rooms, coordinating with maintenance, and ensuring inventory control and compliance with guest privacy and safety procedures. Must lead by example.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of housekeeping leadership experience in hotels or similar settings.
• Experience supervising at least three associates.
• Strong guest-service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn housekeeping systems.

The Executive Housekeeper leads housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness, safety, and brand standards while effectively managing associates, labor, supplies, and departmental costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, coach, and supervise housekeeping and laundry associates.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, performance management, and associate development.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and grounds for cleanliness and brand standards.
• Manage labor and scheduling within established budgets.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, process invoices, and ensure equipment is operational.
• Oversee room key controls, safety procedures, and guest privacy requirements.
• Conduct department meetings and ongoing brand and vendor training.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure repairs are completed promptly.
• Maintain required payroll, inventory, training, and operational documentation.
• Respond professionally to guest concerns and requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of housekeeping experience in hotels, lodging, hospitals, housing, or care facilities.
• 1+ year supervising at least three associates.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and guest-service skills.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn systems such as Quore and Hotel Effectiveness.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, reach, crawl, and kneel.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Periodic overnight travel may be required.
• This is an on-site position.
