Job summary

TrueScripts Management Services, a pharmacist-founded PBM, seeks a Sr. General Counsel to lead legal strategy across PBM operations, healthcare regulation, and commercial contracting.

You will guide governance, enterprise risk, and ESOP matters while partnering with executive leadership to balance compliance with business growth. Ideal candidate brings 15+ years of healthcare/PBM legal experience, strong judgment, and the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable business

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
• Minimum of 15 years of legal experience in healthcare, PBM, managed care, or related regulated industries.
• Significant experience advising senior executives on complex legal matters.
• Demonstrated experience with CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid matters.
• Ability to travel to the Washington, Indiana office (5 days/month).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s principal legal advisor to the President/CEO and Executive Committee.
• Provide guidance on strategic initiatives, regulatory risk, and enterprise-level issues.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and oversee key commercial agreements (PBM services, client/payor, networks, rebates, data-use).
• Oversee corporate governance, ESOP matters, and enterprise risk management.
• Manage disputes, audits, regulatory inquiries, and outside counsel engagements.
• Develop scalable legal processes, templates, and workflows for a growing PBM organization.
