Job summary

Poppy Bank is seeking an AVP, Facilities Manager to oversee facilities operations, maintenance, vendor management, and projects across branches. This hands-on leadership role coordinates field work, manages service requests from intake to resolution, and partners with internal stakeholders on relocations and improvements to ensure safe, functional work environments.

The role requires in-office work, strong judgment and problem-solving, travel to Bank locations, and the ability to supervise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, construction management, business administration, project management, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience in facilities operations, vendor management, or multi-site support, preferably in financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of service requests with accurate status and follow-up.
• Experience coordinating vendors, reviewing proposals and invoices, and ensuring quality.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance concepts, safety, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing and maintenance of facility equipment and systems and engage external vendors when needed.
• Lead branch and office maintenance, furniture installation, equipment relocation, and operational support tasks.
• Coordinate response for facilities incidents, including on-site assessment and vendor dispatch.
• Conduct routine inspections and verify maintenance conditions, safety, and equipment performance.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs when practical within authority and training.
• Monitor facilities email and other request channels; respond professionally and timely.
• Oversee service requests from intake to resolution with proper prioritization and communication.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and track upcoming service dates.
