Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering strategy, product development, and technical execution across multiple disciplines.
  • Drive the design, development, and commercialization of complex instrumentation platforms.
  • Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams.
  • Partner with scientific, commercial, operations, and manufacturing stakeholders.
  • Establish engineering processes that support innovation, quality, and scalability.
  • Guide system architecture, integration, validation, and product lifecycle activities.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Significant experience developing scientific, biomedical, laboratory, or diagnostic instrumentation.
  • Proven success leading engineering organizations and bringing products from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong systems engineering and cross-functional leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, laboratory automation, medical devices, or scientific instrumentation.
  • High-growth, venture-backed, or innovation-driven environments.
  • Commercial product development and multidisciplinary engineering leadership.
