Job summary

ISHR is seeking a Director of Emergency Department in Fort Mohave, AZ to lead the ED with strategic alignment to overall hospital goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, discharge planning and ensuring cost-effective management while maintaining high quality standards. A BSN or higher and an active Arizona RN license are required, with 5 years of management in acute care. A 25k sign-on bonus and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license in Arizona and 5 years of management experience in acute hospital settings.
• Must sit for Case Management certification if not already certified within 30 months.
• Excellent leadership, budgeting and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support aligned with strategic plans via assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient needs.
• Enhance quality of patient management, satisfaction, continuity of care and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure care coordination across services.
• Accountable for care, coordination and discharge planning of all ED patients.
