Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC seeks an Executive Driver / Chauffeur to provide safe, discreet transportation for executives and family members. This is a part-time, on-call role with a flexible schedule, requiring open availability seven days a week, including daytime and evening hours, with occasional overnight travel.

The driver will operate luxury sedans/SUVs, maintain confidentiality, and coordinate with assistants to ensure timely arrivals and special needs are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum five years of professional driving experience preferred.
• Previous Executive Driver or Chauffeur role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate luxury sedans/SUVs for executives.
• Transport clients to meetings, airports and events.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality with executives and family members.
• Communicate professionally with clients and assistants via phone, text, and email.
• Coordinate schedules and special transportation needs with assistants.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS/maps and adjust routes as needed.
• Monitor traffic/conditions and communicate delays proactively.
• Keep vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Comply with driving laws and safety regulations.
• Remain available at locations when end times are uncertain.
• Accommodate reasonable requests, e.g., stocking the vehicle with provisions.
• Respond to breakdowns or emergencies promptly.
• Complete expense reports and administrative tasks as required.

Job Description

We are seeking a professional, dependable Executive Driver / Chauffeur to provide safe, discreet and reliable transportation for executives and family members. The driver will transport clients to and from meetings, events, airports and other destinations while providing a high level of professionalism, courtesy and confidentiality. This is a part-time, on-call position with a flexible schedule based on the needs of the client. Candidates must have open availability 7 days per week, including daytime and evening hours, with occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate a variety of luxury sedans and SUVs.
• Provide transportation to meetings, conferences, social events, airports and other destinations.
• Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when working with executives and family members.
• Communicate professionally by phone, text and email with clients and executive assistants.
• Coordinate with executive assistants regarding schedules, destinations and special transportation needs.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS, maps and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
• Monitor traffic, weather and road conditions and proactively communicate potential delays or concerns.
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe and comfortable condition.
• Ensure the vehicle is operated in compliance with applicable driving laws and safety regulations.
• Remain available at locations for appointments or events when an end time is uncertain.
• Accommodate reasonable special requests, including stocking the vehicle with food or beverages.
• Respond appropriately to unexpected situations, including vehicle breakdowns, accidents or medical emergencies.
• Complete required expense reports and other administrative tasks.
• Maintain a professional, courteous and service-oriented demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans and SUVs.
• Strong knowledge of applicable motor vehicle laws, traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to plan efficient routes and accurately estimate travel times using GPS, navigation systems or traditional maps.
• General knowledge of vehicle maintenance, with the ability to identify and report potential mechanical issues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage changing schedules and priorities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal and business information.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of five years of professional driving or related experience highly preferred.
• Previous experience as an Executive Driver, Chauffeur, Private Driver or similar role is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time.
• Ability to assist with loading, unloading and handling luggage or other items weighing up to 60 pounds as needed.
• Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
