ArtWorks for Milwaukee seeks an Executive Director to guide strategy, fundraising, and external relations while stewarding organizational growth and impact in Milwaukee. The ED will work closely with the Board and lead a small staff to advance equitable, arts-focused youth programming.

The role emphasizes building partnerships with schools, funders, and community organizations, ensuring sustainable operations and strong financial management for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressively responsible leadership in nonprofit sectors.
• Proven success securing philanthropic support through donor cultivation and grants.
• Experience managing organizational budgets and financial resources.
• Strong relationship-building and communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker who can execute day-to-day priorities and collaborate with a board.
• Commitment to equity, youth development, and the transformative power of the arts.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership that advances mission, vision, and long-term sustainability.
