Ella Sharp Museum seeks an Executive Director to drive the mission and work alongside the Board of Trustees to ensure strong operations, fiscal stewardship, and long‑term organizational health.

The role requires leadership across exhibitions, education, fundraising, and community partnerships, with a willingness to engage beyond traditional hours as needed to realize the museum’s mission.

Formación

• Must have a proven track record in nonprofit fundraising across multiple revenue streams.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to trust, empower, and inspire staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; receptive to feedback and challenges.

Responsabilidades

• Represent the Ella Sharp Museum confidently in community, cultural, educational and business activities.
• Build relationships beyond the museum campus and be a visible point of contact.
• Lead decisions around exhibitions, educational programs, fundraising, partnerships, and spending.
• Lead staff by setting clear expectations, addressing performance concerns, and holding the team accountable for advancing the museum’s mission.
• Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to provide candid information and align priorities with resources and capacity.
• Oversee the operational budget and secure charitable support, grants, and foundation funding.
