The Difference You Make:

The CIB Product-Trade & WC-IC3 is responsible for supporting the GTB marketing officers in origination, deal negotiation and execution, and account management with a focus on structured trade and export finance. Provides optimal support in transaction origination, including preparing proposals, pitches and presentations. Leads client management including but not limited to updating offerings, follow up on existing facilities, and internal reports. Interfaces with Middle Office and other relevant departments (i.e. LC department, Compliance, Risk and Legal) to ensure effective deal management. Develops internal relationships in support areas critical to getting GTB deals booked legal, credit committee, compliance, operations. Establishes procedures to accommodate new transactions.

Superior knowledge of commercial banking products and trade finance services (both credit and non-credit), competitor product lines and commercial compliance regulations. Superior knowledge Doc Trade rules including UCP, ISP and URDG and Uniform Commercial Code Art. 5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and leverage professional relationships internally and externally. Demonstrated superior sales, presentation, negotiation, and program/project management skills. Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and ability to quickly learn new software and/or systems. Superior client relationship, marketing presentation and sales/closing skills. Excellent business development and presentation skills. Ability to maintain and demonstrate high ethical standards and personal integrity to build credibility and trust while enhancing the organization’s reputation. Demonstrates the ability to translate customer needs into marketable product features. Self-starter: forward thinking, with a positive/can-do attitude. Demonstrates the ability to create strategic plans and lay out a strategic course of action to drive future business growth for a specific product. Demonstrated understanding of product development life cycle. Understanding the competitive market and the role of technology within Trade Finance. Preferred experience with Leverage Finance and agencies guarantees (USDA, EXIM.) Certifications: Certificate of Documentary credit specialist (CDCS) is a plus.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location. Base Pay Range: Minimum: $225,000.00 USD Maximum: $230,000.00 USD
