Job summary

Blue Bird Corporation seeks an Executive Director, Total Rewards to own enterprise total rewards strategy across compensation, benefits, executive compensation support, incentive design, job architecture, governance, and rewards communications. This leader will ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and practical for a manufacturing environment while aligning with Blue Bird’s priorities and culture.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering learning programs across needs assessment, design, development, delivery, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise total rewards strategy aligned to business priorities and financial stewardship.
• Translate business needs into practical rewards solutions for plant and professional populations.
• Establish and monitor program success metrics (market competitiveness, turnover, benefits participation, incentive effectiveness, pay equity).
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Legal, HRBPs, and leaders for consistent adoption of rewards programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for health and welfare programs.
