Job summary

The Swannanoa Valley Museum & History Center is seeking an energetic Executive Director to lead and guide the Museum, manage staff and volunteers, and promote the Museum throughout the Swannanoa Valley.

You will collaborate with the Board of Directors, Museum Members, community leaders and professional peers to advance the Museum's mission and programs. This full-time role requires Mid to Senior level leadership and strong community engagement.

Qualifications

• Mid to senior level leadership experience, director-level preferred.
• Experience in administration, development, marketing, and customer service.
• Experience collaborating with boards and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the Museum, manage staff and volunteers.
• Promote the Museum throughout the Swannanoa Valley.
