Job summary

Haida Corporation seeks a General Manager to implement strategic direction and oversee operations, budgeting, and governance. You will work with the Board of Directors, contractors, and staff to develop long-range plans and ensure fiscal integrity while promoting cultural heritage and shareholder value.

Responsibilities include leading organizational strategy, supervising staff, and coordinating budgeting processes, reporting, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration or related field.
• Five+ years of administrative experience in Corporate Governance.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Experience with federal, state, and local grants and regulations.
• Experience with direct/indirect costs, program development, and organizational planning.
• Experience supervising multifunctional staff and services governed by guidelines.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
• Master's degree in Public or Business Administration preferred; five+ years of managing experience.

Responsibilities

• Will have strategic and operating management responsibility for all aspects of the organization, including department integration, fundraising, operations, recruiting, and financial management.
• Works with the office administrator to complete updated job descriptions, annual evaluations, employee disciplinary actions, and administrative functions.
• Authority to bring new positions for approval to the Board of Directors to be added to the Corporation Operations.
• Ensures the Board and departments receive timely budget reports.
• Provide leadership and supervision to develop short- and long-range plans.
• Lead strategic efforts with Board, Contractors, and Staff to achieve goals.
• Collaborate to implement plans for operations infrastructure and personnel.
