Job summary

J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank is seeking an Investment Specialist to help Advisors win new clients and deepen relationships by advising on investment solutions. You will work with a team across markets and functions to elevate client outcomes.

The role emphasizes conducting reviews, asset allocation, and closing sales of complex investment products while ensuring adherence to policies and guiding junior staff. Strong licensing and 7+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates may apply but must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date.
• Seven+ years’ experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
• Demonstrated understanding of wealth management including credit, deposits, trust and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investment reviews with clients to validate objectives and prepare recommendations.
• Develop investment policy statements and advise on asset allocation.
• Close sales of complex investment products.
• Coordinate sales efforts with Capital Advisors, Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors; focus on qualified purchaser clients and act as primary resource for investment communication.
• Build excellent working relationships with internal clients.
• Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conduct.
• Provide guidance to junior staff.
