Job summary

Cohere is seeking an Executive Director for Elyson, a premier master-planned community in Katy, TX. This onsite role leads strategy, operations, governance, and resident experience, partnering with the Board and developers to scale the community responsibly.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of progressive leadership in community management, strong financial acumen, and a track record of building high-performing teams to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in large-scale communities or similar organizations.
• Proven ability to develop and coach a professional staff.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting and long-term financial forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior leader and central point of accountability for Elyson, providing strategic direction across operations, governance, resident experience, facilities, engagement, and standards.
• Translate the Board’s, Developer’s, and community’s long-term vision into priorities, strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Oversee governance processes, reporting, records, policies, and implementation of Board directives.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and long-range planning for the community.
