Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking an Executive Director / Site Head of Precision for Medicine to oversee Frederick, MD laboratory operations. The role requires deep FDA guidance knowledge, CAP/CLIA/GxP compliance, and leading Bioanalysis, Flow Cytometry, and CDx programs.

Responsibilities include mentoring lab heads, coordinating with QA, Finance, and global site heads, and driving operational excellence with KPI oversight, budget adherence, and client communications.

Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant experience.
• 15+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all laboratory operations in Frederick MD (Bioanalysis, Flow Cytometry, CDx).
• Coach and mentor laboratory heads in Bioanalytical, Flow and CDx.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Biorepository, QA, Finance and global site heads.
• Monitor KPIs including quality events, turnaround time, capacity, revenue, and budget.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CAP/CLIA/GxP) and FDA/regulatory coordination.
• Lead development of robust assays meeting FDA scrutiny and GLP/GCP standards.
• Provide strategic operations leadership to ensure efficiency and resourcing.
• Prepare SOPs, protocols, and critical documents; manage client communications.
