Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc seeks a Director - Clinical Services for Behavioral Health to lead nursing and allied health teams and drive evidence-based clinical programs for pediatric patients with emotional, behavioral and developmental needs. The role collaborates with the Behavioral Health Medical Director to ensure quality, safety and service excellence.

The position requires a BSN with a related Masters and Ohio RN licensure, with preferred certifications in Nursing Administration or

Qualifications

BSN in nursing with a Masters in a related field (MSN, MBA, MHA).
Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
Certification in Nursing Administration or Psychiatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads nursing and allied health personnel in strategic directives and care activities to ensure Behavioral Health achieves best outcomes in patient and family care.
Leads multi and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based inpatient and outpatient clinical programs, policies, and standards for Behavioral Health for pediatric patients.
Develops and implements continuous performance improvement initiatives focused on improving the management and experience for patients, families and staff.
Represents Behavioral Health nursing, allied health personnel and perspective in organizational discussions and meetings.
Plans, oversees implementation, evaluates and modifies the clinical care activities for the Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion to assure excellence in the delivery of care and service.
