Job summary

Elwyn, a nonprofit serving individuals with autism, IDD, and behavioral health needs, seeks an Executive Director of Payer Relationships to lead nationwide payer strategy and negotiations. You will build alliances with commercial, Medicaid Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and other payers, optimize reimbursement, and drive growth while ensuring compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred; MBA/MHA/MPH or related field is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for payer contracts and renewals across commercial and government payers.
• Develop and oversee Elwyn's enterprise payer strategy across markets and programs.
• Cultivate executive-level payer relationships and represent Elwyn in high-level negotiations.
• Ensure credentialing, enrollment, and paneling activities are timely and compliant.
• Monitor payer market dynamics and opportunities for innovative payment models.
• Provide leadership and supervision for contracting staff and internal stakeholders.
