Description:We are seeking an Interim Surgical Director for our Operating Room.This position is responsible for overseeing the surgical team and ensuring optimal operational performance.The ideal candidate will have experience in staffing management and nurse engagement strategies.Duties include effectively staffing the operating room, including agency staffing when necessary.The role involves rebuilding employee engagement through improved communication.You will be tasked with managing room turnover times and enhancing provider efficiency.Additionally, you will assist in the recruitment process for permanent hiring.The facility operates with two OR suites and one procedure room.Surgical volume includes approximately 4-6 orthopedic cases per week, along with general surgery procedures such as colonoscopies, EGD, hernia repairs, mass excisions, and hand surgeries.The surgical staff consists of approximately seven full-time equivalents.Anesthesia services are provided by contracted professionals.This role does not require call-back duties.
