Overview

Executive Director of Operational Efficiency – AdventHealth

Location: Altamonte Springs, Florida (Remote work option available)

Responsibilities
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight to revenue cycle functions for the physician practice operations within AHS PE, with the goal of top quartile performance.
  • Implement processes, procedures, tools, and management structures to achieve the Revenue Cycle Ambition, including complete and accurate demographic data entry, insurance eligibility verification, collection of patient responsibility at time of service, accurate charge entry with correct diagnoses, and supervision of the PE Corporate Director of Revenue Cycle and Central Florida Regional Revenue Cycle Directors.
  • Ensure revenue claims compliance with all applicable rules and regulations; oversee the Director of Revenue Integrity and a team of coders across AHS.
  • Oversee Central Business Office (CBO) support through the athenahealth co-sourcing model and ensure service levels align with contractual SLAs.
  • Provide strategic oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimal staffing, associate engagement, and effective management engagement.
  • Facilitate organizational consensus and manage business relationships with stakeholders; develop and deploy patient-friendly programs and activities; align employee development with business unit objectives.

Collaborate with divisional leaders in PE revenue cycle, clinical operations, IT, and finance to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, data-driven solutions that reduce operational friction.
