Minnesota Climate Innovation Finance Authority (MnCIFA) seeks an entrepreneurial, strategic leader to serve as Executive Director and provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership. MnCIFA uses innovative financing to advance Minnesota’s clean energy economy, fill green financing gaps, and leverage private, nonprofit, and public investment to benefit communities statewide.

The Executive Director will lead MnCIFA’s investment strategy, business development, project financing, compliance, staff management, and outcomes reporting. Responsibilities include advancing clean energy, carbon reduction, resilience, and equity; expanding equitable access to green financing, particularly for underserved communities; and building partnerships with financial institutions, developers, utilities, Tribes, community organizations, government agencies, clean-tech innovators, and philanthropic investors.

The Executive Director will oversee budgets, personnel, procurement, audits, compliance, and reporting while keeping the Board of Directors informed of strategy, milestones, risks, and portfolio performance.
