Samsung Electronics is seeking a senior, strategic marketing leader to serve as Executive Director, Integrated Marketing across its Home Entertainment portfolio (TVs, Audio, Monitors and Memory). This individual will provide critical thinking and thought leadership as a core member of the Marketing Leadership Team, driving innovation and identifying better ways to activate consumer touchpoints across all channels and product categories.

This role will own the end‑to‑end integrated marketing strategy across the portfolio, with direct oversight of category marketing, campaign development, paid media, and creator and partnership marketing disciplines. They will have accountability for both internal marketing team and the agency organization — setting the strategic direction, managing investment, and ensuring measurable delivery across all workstreams.

This individual will collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Digital and Retailer Marketing to build integrated marketing plans that drive positive business impact and brand health. The Executive Director will serve as the senior marketing liaison across Paid Media, Creative, Retail Marketing, and Agency Teams to ensure consistent and connected execution across every consumer touchpoint.

Collaboration, analytical rigor, and executive confidence will be critical to the success of this role. The marketing organization is rapidly evolving — integrating new functions, data capabilities, and channels — and it is essential that this leader is comfortable with a high degree of interoperability across internal and external teams. We are looking for someone willing to challenge the status quo, bring a strong and defensible point of view, and raise the bar with every initiative.

This role reports into the VP and CMO of the Home Entertainment Business.

Role and Responsibilities
Category Strategy and Portfolio Marketing
Category Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and own go‑to‑market marketing strategies for multiple product categories (TVs, Audio, Monitors and Memory), with differentiated positioning and value propositions tailored to each consumer segment
  • Define category vision and translate it into actionable annual and quarterly marketing plans with clear objectives, investment levels, and success metrics aligned to business goals
  • Translate product launches, seasonal priorities (Key Commercial Moments), and business objectives into full‑funnel integrated marketing plans that connect every channel and team
  • Gain alignment from all stakeholders including Executive Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and Global HQ on category strategy and annual marketing plans
  • Gain a deep understanding of each product's market opportunity, competitive landscape, brand objectives, and financial targets — and develop processes for collecting consumer insights that continuously sharpen marketing strategy
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Consumer Insights teams to identify whitespace opportunities, size total addressable markets, and shape category narratives that resonate with target consumers
  • Lead full‑funnel product launch planning — from consumer brief and messaging architecture through channel activation, agency briefing, and post‑launch performance review
Integrated Campaigns
Campaign Strategy and Development
  • Build integrated marketing strategies and creative briefs for major campaigns spanning paid media, social, digital, influencer, partnerships, CRM, shopper marketing, and creative — ensuring consistent messaging and brand experience across all consumer touchpoints
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that work as a connected system — coherent across every channel and built to perform at every stage of the consumer journey
  • Lead the campaign strategy from consumer brief through go‑live, setting the strategic framework that guides internal teams, agency partners, and Global HQ collaboration
Creative Strategy and Execution
  • Set creative direction and push for work that is both brand‑right and performance‑optimized — balancing emotional resonance with conversion intent across all formats and channels
  • Lead Consumer Insights team on consumer testing of positioning hypotheses and creative concepts, iterating through to final execution based on data
  • Ensure all campaigns are built to perform across diverse consumer segments, incorporating culturally relevant messaging and inclusive creative standards
  • Collaborate with Brand Design and Legal teams to ensure all assets meet brand standards and receive required approvals before activation
  • Localize or adapt assets from Global HQ for use across campaigns, digital, social, and experiential activations as needed
  • Partner with the Brand and Communications teams to ensure all campaigns ladder up to broader brand positioning and are not developed or executed in isolation

Define campaign KPIs, attribution frameworks, and measurement plans before every campaign launch — ensuring accountability is established up front, not retroactively

Campaign Performance
  • Deliver insights, make recommendations, and drive in‑flight campaign iterations based on performance signals — maintaining a bias toward continuous optimization over static execution
  • Prepare executive‑level decks and strategy documents that ensure alignment among internal stakeholders including C‑suite, Product Marketing, and Global HQ
National and Retail Media Responsibilities
Media Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and oversee the fully integrated, national and retail paid media strategies aligned with the Division’s business objectives, national sales goals, and brand health goals.
  • Identify and reach target audiences, leveraging first‑party and partner data to optimize campaigns.
  • Test innovative approaches to engage consumers and oversee budget allocation across channels.
Channel, Retail and Performance Media Management
  • Oversee paid media campaigns across all channels, including traditional Broadcast/Cable, CTV/OTT, OLV, Display (Programmatic and Direct), DOOH, Social, and Search.
  • Develop comprehensive strategy aligning retail media efforts with national and performance media
  • Leverage research and MMM learnings to maximize sales nationally and at key retail partners.
  • Build relationships with retail media platforms (e.g., Best Buy Ads, Amazon Advertising).
  • Develop strategies with Samsung.com leadership team to maximize qualified traffic and sales
Campaign Planning & Optimization
  • Plan, test, and execute campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Optimize campaigns in real time based on performance data, adjusting targeting, creatives, and bidding strategies.
Campaign Planning & Optimization
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with Ecomm to align on s.com performance targets.
  • Leverage advanced data capabilities to target high‑propensity audiences and maximize conversion
  • Provide weekly performance updates and optimization recommendations
Partnership Marketing
  • Build the external marketing ecosystem that authentically extends our reach, drives consumer consideration, and creates co‑investment opportunities with key partners
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic co‑marketing partnerships including programs with key retailers, platform partners (e.g., Google, Meta, Amazon, Apple), and complementary consumer brands
  • Lead partnership strategy for major product launches, securing co‑investment and promotional support from key partners at the highest‑impact moments
  • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements that deliver clear mutual value, with defined deliverables, investment levels, and performance metrics on both sides
  • Gain stakeholder alignment across Sales, Product Marketing, and Executive Management on partnership investments and creator marketing strategy
General Responsibilities
  • Provide senior oversight of budget management, agency governance, and operational excellence across the integrated marketing function
  • Manage agency relationships, scopes of work, and performance reviews across creative, media, partnerships, and research partners — holding external organizations to the same standard as the internal team
  • Oversee the management of marketing assets, ensuring availability of critical assets to internal teams, agency partners, and retail accounts in a timely and organized manner
  • Build and maintain efficient team operating rhythms including planning sprints, campaign retrospectives, and cross‑functional status reviews that keep the organization aligned and accountable
  • Build and develop a high‑performing marketing team while serving as a strong, collaborative, and influential partner across the broader organization
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing managers and specialists across category marketing, campaign management, paid media, and partnerships
  • Represent the marketing function in cross‑functional leadership forums, bringing a confident and data‑supported point of view and advocating effectively for team investment and priorities
Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years leading senior marketing teams and managing agency organizations with demonstrated impact on business outcomes
