The role provides strategic leadership for pharmacovigilance, safety governance, and global safety strategy across the pulmonary portfolio, devices, biologics, and innovative programs.

Qualifications

• MD physician with medical license in the U.S.
• 10+ years leading safety risk management in pharma/biopharma.
• 3+ years managing other MDs or sub-investigators.
• 5+ years of clinical trial support.
• Experience in matrix teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking for safety governance.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive risk-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global safety strategy across investigational and commercial products.
• Lead benefit-risk assessments supporting regulatory submissions and lifecycle management.
• Provide executive oversight of safety governance committees and health authority interactions.
• Drive safety governance framework and cross-functional alignment across product teams.
• Lead innovation in pharmacovigilance through analytics and modern safety science methods.
• Ensure safety decisions are evidence-based and scientifically defensible.
• Mentor safety leaders and build organizational capability.
