Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, seeks a Senior Director/Executive Director of International Pharmacovigilance to lead global PV activities and ensure compliant adverse event handling across international affiliates.

This role reports to GPS Capabilities and partners with Safety Science, Case Management, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal to drive PV excellence, regulatory compliance, and patient safety worldwide. Travel ~20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading pharmacovigilance or closely related global functions.
• Experience with global PV regulations (EU GVP, FDA CFR, ICH).
• Experience managing large, distributed teams and CRO/BPO partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction, governance, and delivery of PV across international affiliates.
• Oversee PV centralization, workforce planning, and budget management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, inspections readiness, and global reporting across markets.
• Develop leadership, succession planning, and talent development within the PV organization.
• Represent International PV on GPS leadership and cross-functional teams.
