Job summary

FoundHer is seeking an Executive Director in Hawaiʻi to lead operations, fundraising, and external engagement for a growing nonprofit focused on NHPIAA wāhine entrepreneurs. You will build a sustainable funding base, manage programs, and serve as the organization’s primary voice in the community.

The role is hands‑on, with a small team and close work with the Hawaiʻi FoundHer Board of Directors. Compensation starts at $120,000 per year plus medical, dental, and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven fundraising track record across grants, donors, and partnerships.
• Experience leading nonprofit or startup operations including staff, budget, and board management.
• Strong ability to build trust and sustain relationships with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a fundraising strategy to maintain solvency and build a six‑month runway.
• Develop and nurture relationships with funders, mentors, and industry leaders to advance the mission.
• Lead strategic planning for accelerator programs and community engagement, including curriculum design and delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, budgets, and reporting; work with the Board and grow the team as needed.
