Qualifications

• Current Alabama Teacher's Certification with a Master's degree or higher.
• Endorsement in administration K-12.
• Three years of successful certificated teaching experience.
• Prior school administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Academic Officer and district leadership in planning the use of federal funds.
• Direct and oversee all district federal programs, including charter and private schools.
• Stay current on laws and policies and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain budgets for federal program funds (Title I–IV, grants).
• Ensure compliance with accounting laws and coordinate with ALSDE Federal Programs and Finance staff.
• Prepare reports, plans, and compliance documents; maintain required records.
• Lead program evaluations, needs assessments, and district-wide improvement planning.
• Supervise staff, conduct performance appraisals, and handle employment recommendations.
• Provide training on federal fund utilization and ensure compliance requirements.
• Engage parents and community to support student achievement.
• Align programs with district priorities and contribute to strategic planning.
