Job summary

Maryland Enterprise Education Consortium (MEEC) seeks an Executive Director to lead its technology and procurement professionals, executing the vision set by the MEEC Board of Directors. The role oversees procurement lifecycle, supports members and vendors, and grows the MEEC partner community.

The Executive Director will drive strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure MEEC meets evolving education technology procurement needs, while engaging stakeholders across K-20 institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, Higher Education Administration, Procurement, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for MEEC.
• Use market intelligence and member feedback to guide service development and priorities.
• Develop and implement MEEC Board–driven priorities.
• Oversee procurement activities and contract lifecycle for new products and services.
• Manage vendor relationships and engagement initiatives with members and stakeholders.
• Represent MEEC at professional conferences and vendor events.
