Lake Washington Schools Foundation seeks an Executive Director to lead fundraising, partnerships, and strategic growth in the Eastside community. Based in Redmond, WA, this hybrid role partners with the LWSD and works to expand donor engagement and programs that benefit students.

The successful candidate will guide staff, manage budgets, strengthen governance, and articulate impact through data and stories, building trust with the Board, educators, families, and local partners to ensure

• Proven track record in fundraising, revenue development, and donor relationships.
• Experience leading people, budgets, and organizational resources.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to execute plans.
• Public judgment, integrity, and credibility in donor relations.
• Passion for public education and community-focused leadership.
• Entrepreneurial, action-oriented approach to growth and planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Foundation's fundraising strategy across annual giving, major gifts, events, grants, and partnerships.
• Cultivate and steward major donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
• Partner with the Board to set strategy and governance, and engage trustees as ambassadors.
• Build organizational capacity by hiring, mentoring, and supporting staff.
• Develop metrics to evaluate program impact and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
• Ensure sound financial stewardship with budgeting, forecasting, and controls.
• Strengthen relationships with LWSD and the Eastside community to expand impact.
