Job summary

BronxWorks seeks an experienced Educational Director to lead our Early Childhood Education Center at our newest New York location. You will oversee operations, curriculum delivery, budget management, staff supervision, and family engagement to ensure high-quality care for children ages 2 to 5.

The ideal candidate will have NYS ECEC management experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to equity and community partnerships, working with parents, staff, and external funders to support learning

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Early Childhood with NYS Teacher Certification (Birth–Grade 2).
• Minimum 1–2 years management in Head Start or UPK settings.
• Experience with DOE/HS program requirements and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative procedures, curriculum delivery, and program compliance.
• Manage day-to-day operations, budgets, and staffing for the center.
• Lead staff development, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Foster parent/community relations and reporting to funders.
• Ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate childcare and learning.
