Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Executive Director, Data Management (R&D) to lead strategy, operations, and continuous improvement across data management for development programs. You will own the design and oversight of clinical data collection, DM systems, governance, vendor management, and inspection readiness.

Travel domestically and internationally as needed. The ideal candidate has ~15 years in pharma/biotech with ~10 years in leadership and vendor oversight, plus an advanced degree if

Qualifications

• 15 years pharma/biotech experience.
• 10 years direct report and/or vendor management.
• Experience managing multiple direct reports/contingent workers/programs.
• Experience in both in-house and outsourced DM operating models.
• Vendor evaluation/selection/governance/management experience (CROs/FSPs/vendors).
• Regulatory compliance (FDA/ICH) and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of DM across the clinical development portfolio.
• Lead/develop the Data Management function (org design, resources, budgeting).
• Establish scalable operating model with internal capabilities and outsourced partnerships.
• Oversee vendor selection, governance, contract management, and performance.
• Develop and implement DM standards, SOPs, and inspection readiness.
