Job summary

The 19th Judicial Circuit Court seeks an Executive Director to lead the court organization’s people, budget, and operations across Lake County, IL. Reporting to the Chief Judge, you will supervise eight division directors, guide strategic priorities, and work with judges and county officials to ensure effective court administration.

You will shape leadership transitions, oversee personnel and labor relations, and manage the circuit's financial stewardship in partnership with county leadership.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management required.
• Budgeting and financial oversight experience.
• Collaboration with judiciary and county partners beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Executive leadership of eight division directors and senior staff.
• Oversee personnel management, performance, employee relations, and recruitment across the Circuit.
• Develop and present the annual budget to the Lake County Board and committees.
• Monitor legislation and administrative directives and shape policy responses.
• Foster partnerships with court partners and county officials to support effective administration.
