Job summary

YWCA Lancaster seeks a full-time Director of the Counseling Center to provide visionary leadership for a comprehensive behavioral health program serving women, survivors of violence, and marginalized communities.

Lead strategic development, ensure quality and compliance, and oversee budgets and grants while fostering an inclusive, trauma-informed workplace and strong community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field; clinical licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Counseling Center in alignment with YWCA Lancaster's mission and priorities.
• Lead development of a comprehensive behavioral health model addressing mental health, trauma recovery, and community well-being.
• Oversee clinical, advocacy, prevention, and support services for quality and compliance.
• Supervise and develop a multidisciplinary team with a focus on equity and professional excellence.
• Manage budgets, grants, and long-term sustainability; secure and steward funding.
• Build partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies.
