Job summary

Eurest, a Compass Group division, seeks a Director of Dining Services to lead operations across dining venues. The role ensures client satisfaction, cost-effective management, and excellence in foodservice activities including care, quality, sanitation, and infection control.

You will drive performance and coach leaders to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, training, reporting, and delivering on HACCP and OSHA guidelines while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or A.A. with related experience.
• 5–7 years of direct foodservice operational management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and cost controls.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• Excellent supervisory, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct salaried managers and hourly staff in the Food Service Department.
• Oversee account direction, coordination, and evaluation.
• Hire, train, assign work, and appraise performance; handle disputes.
• Prepare and manage annual budget.
• Utilize systems for reports: inventory, payroll, etc.
• Ensure food/beverage service adheres to standards, sanitation, and safety.
