Job summary
The Dubois County Community Foundation seeks an accomplished Executive Director to serve as its chief executive, community ambassador, and strategic leader. Reporting to the Board, the leader will guide strategy, strengthen donor relationships, grow charitable assets, and ensure sound financial stewardship.
The role requires a bachelor's degree with 10+ years of leadership in philanthropy or a related field, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of professional leadership experience; an advanced degree with at least 5 years is also acceptable.
- Experience guiding strategy, governance, and donor engagement in a nonprofit or foundation setting.
- Ability to translate mission into measurable results and build trusted community relationships.

- Serve as chief executive and community ambassador for the Foundation.
- Lead strategy development, governance, and long-range planning.
- Grow charitable assets through donor development and stewardship.
- Ensure strong financial, operational, and legal stewardship.
